EOS Consulting S.p.A., as Technical Advisor, supported IREN Group in the acquisition of the Troia and Palo photovoltaic plants, owned by the Danish company European Energy A/S.
The transaction, relating to the largest photovoltaic park in Italy (Troia – 103 MW) and the additional plant in Palo (18.5 MW) – recently connected to the electricity grid – for a total installed capacity of 121.5 MW, represents an important step within the IREN Group’s 2030 Business Plan.
EOS was in charge of performing the Technical Due Diligence activity and developing a Revamping and Repowering Plan, with the coordination of IREN’s Technical Team, composed of Paolo Mezzera, Head of Power Management, Federico Boni Castagnetti, Head of Smart Energy – Utility-scale Renewables and Storage and the M&A Team, represented by Francesco Sava, M&A and Business Development Director.
EOS conducted the activities through a multidisciplinary team led by CEO Emanuele Riccobene and Partners Daniele De Sanctis and Chiara Ruggiero – assisted by Team Manager Floriana Cassone, Expert Giulio Nobili and Analysts Pierfrancesco Nataletti and Giulio Di Salvo.
