The project born from the idea of the international design group Bjarke Ingels Group - BIG to complete the skyline of CityLife’s redevelopment rather than compete with the 3 existing skyscrapers, provides for the construction of two buildings for offices and connected by a roof «the portico» that acts as an element of connection and entrance at the same time of the square three towers and is set as a characteristic element of the intervention.
The project is inspired by the highest international standards of quality, sustainability and well-being and will be certified Leed Platinum, Well and Wiredscore Platinum.
The project fully developed in BIM environment aims to manage all phases of the intervention from integrated design of information models, management of programming (4D), economic management (5D), sustainability management (6D) to information management for the use and maintenance of buildings (7D).
EOS, in addition to the CityLife Project Management structure, is responsible for the Technical Review activities and the Value Engineering activities of the final, executive and constructive project, ensuring continuous quality monitoring, compliance with regulations and compliance with customer requirements and cost control throughout the development of the Intervention.
EOS is also in charge of the activity of BIM Management that provides (i) the customer’s support in structuring the information specifications and thus in defining the rules for developing and implementing the models, (ii) management and coordination of the various disciplines, ensuring harmonisation of content and information in line with customer requirements, (iii) the progressive verification and validation of BIM models; (iv) Verification of interference resolution (clash), (v) verification of the conformity of models with the BIM Uses requested by the customer, (vi), the verification and coordination of the implementation of the phases of final design, execution, tender phase and construction phase by the General Contractor, until the delivery of the property.
Starting from the executive project EOS assumed the role of Project Manager of the initiative. The activity consists in identifying the risks of the various design processes for the various disciplinary areas, the identification of stakeholders, the definition of project time and costs. The activity involves the ongoing coordination of design activities and the resolution of various needs emerging from the project development process. Project Management is carried out in continuous contact with the design team and CityLife in order to allow respect of time, costs and ensure the final quality of the project.
