EOS supported the European Investment Bank (EIB), ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Intesa Sanpaolo, NatWest, SMBC Group, Bankinter, and Ares Management Corporation in Europe’s first cross-border 'Total IPP Financing' (Tippf) for BNZ, worth over €680 million, aimed at developing more than 1.7 GW of solar capacity.

BNZ, a company owned by the Clean Energy Fund III of Nuveen Infrastructure—one of Europe’s largest renewable energy fund managers—successfully secured this landmark financing to advance its strategic growth plan across Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, and Portugal) and scale up its renewable energy operations.

EOS acted as Technical Advisor to the lending syndicate, conducting the Technical Due Diligence on BNZ’s Italian portfolio, comprising 9 plants with a total capacity of approximately 460 MW. The assignment was carried out by a highly specialized multidisciplinary team.
